Company VAR is a specialist for progressive tools in the field of the automotive industry more than 25 years.
Their team focuses on delivering the best customer satisfaction through high-quality assurance, innovation, and constant development. Taking care of their employee’s knowledge and satisfaction is another priority for them.
As the company’s team grew over the years the demand to have safer information security, networks, programs, and devices increased as well. Thus, the management of VAR decided to receive a system security assessment.

Approach
Our Information Security Analysts (ISA) conducted all testing in coordination with VAR d.o.o.’s staff members to ensure safe, orderly, and complete testing within the approved scope.
Primarily our experts tested the network internally by simulating the network-level actions of a malicious actor who gained a foothold within the internal network zone.
This test was performed to provide security assistance through proactively identifying vulnerabilities, validating their severity, and providing remediation steps.
Solution
ANGELIS provided a system security assessment and tested security controls within the company’s information environment to provide a practical demonstration of those controls’ effectiveness as well as to provide an estimate of their susceptibility to exploitation and/or data breaches.
The company received a vulnerability and remediation summary with an explanation of issues on which they need to focus to achieve improved security.
